Soliton in a nanotube wall and Stokes flow in the nanotube

Abstract: An explicitly solvable model of flow in a nanotube, which is caused by an elastic soliton propagating in the nanotube wall, is proposed. A mathematical basis for the model is provided by the theory of selfadjoint extensions of symmetrical operators.
