Abstract: Influence of magnetic fields on the phase composition and hardness of nickel titanium (TiNi) alloys has been investigated. It is shown that changes in the phase composition of TiNi samples exposed to magnetic fields for a long period of time depend on the magnetic field type (uniform or nonuniform). Significant variations in hardness of the samples under investigation have been observed.
