Vibrational movement of a pair of piezoelectric oscillators along a string

Abstract: The behavior of a pair of synchronously excited piezoelectric oscillators suspended on a horizontal metal string has been studied. It is established that, at certain frequencies of excitation, the oscillators move consistently at a constant velocity along the string and induce oscillations in the form of a standing transverse wave in a part of the string between the points of suspension.
