Abstract: The amplitude-frequency characteristic of the coefficient of microwave transmission of a two-dimensional composite electromagnetic crystal comprising gypsum (CaSO$_4$ $\cdot$ 2H$_2$O) matrix with a regular structure of conducting cylinders has been experimentally studied.
