Abstract:
It is established that, despite a significant change in the crystal lattice parameter of nickel alloyed with iron in a broad range of concentrations, the deformation texture in Fe–Ni alloy tapes is similar to that in pure nickel. This circumstance allows a perfect cubic texture to be obtained in the alloys upon the primary recrystallization. Using two-step annealing or annealing with slow heating rate, it is possible to additionally increase the sharpness of cubic texture in Fe–Ni alloys studied.
