Redistribution of gas phase components during spark discharge

Abstract: Changes in the composition of the gas phase during spark discharge operation in a closed volume has been studied. Equations that describe the kinetics of this process are derived and used to calculate the real variation of partial pressures of all significant gas phase components involved in the plasmachemical interaction. Rate constants of the main reactions are determined for plasma discharge in air in a closed volume.
