Charge transfer in epitaxial graphene-metal substrate system

Abstract: A simple model is formulated and used to derive analytical expressions for the density of states in the epitaxial layer of graphene on a metal substrate and the occupation numbers for carbon atoms. Estimations of the charge transfer in this system are obtained for several metal substrates.
