Effect of quantum dot shape dispersion on their joint density of states

Abstract: An original approach to evaluating the influence of the distribution of quantum dots with respect to their shapes on the joint density of states is proposed. Expressions that describe the shift and inhomogeneous broadening of the main spectral band of luminescence depending on the coefficient of modulation of the surface shape of quantum dots are obtained.
