Suppression of polarization errors in fiber-ring interferometer by polarizing fibers

Abstract: Polarization errors in a Sagnac fiber-ring interferometer are considered. It is shown that the joint application of polarizing fibers at the input of the interferometer and the sensing coil is able to radically suppress these errors.
