Development of a hot graphite mixing chamber with a flooded jet for a DC plasma torch

Abstract: A design of a hot graphite flow mixing chamber for a DC plasma torch has been created, which provides heating of a graphite target by molecular gas (nitrogen) to temperatures above 3000 K without causing “thermomechanical” erosion by creating a more uniform stationary gas flow.
