Abstract: Using numerical investigation, the influence of heater width on the character of a flow and the extreme thickness of a thin liquid film driven by gas flow in a horizontal minichannel was found. We established the existence of critical values of the heater width and impact of the Reynolds number of fluid on the processes under study.
