Dynamics of ultimately short electromagnetic pulses in silicene waveguides

Abstract: The propagation of ultimately short discrete electromagnetic pulses, which can be considered as optical solitons, in silicene waveguide layers has been studied. A phenomenological equation is obtained that describes the dynamics of ultimately short light pulses in a system of silicene waveguides. Phenomena observed on varying the width of the primary pulse are analyzed.
