A quantum cascade laser in a transverse magnetic field. A model of the open triple-barrier active region

Abstract: A theory of spectral parameters and active dynamic conductivity of the quantum cascade laser is proposed in the model of a triple-barrier active region of an individual cascade in a transverse magnetic field. In correspondence with the experiment, it is shown that, with an increase in the magnetic field to 8 T, the radiation peak is shifted to the region of higher energies and its integral intensity sharply decreases.
