Abstract: The phenomenon of a decrease in the electrokinetic potential of nanosized colloid particles upon the passage of their colloidal solution through a static magnetic field has been theoretically studied for the first time. The obtained results can be applied in practice to increase the accuracy of quantitative determination of the intensity of coagulation in the volume of a colloidal solution, which eventually results in decreasing scale formation on heat-exchanger tube walls.
