Abstract:
The possibility of forming HgCdTe mesastructures with microdisc cavities using metal masks as part of the explosive lithography process is investigated. The operation of microdisc lasers in various spectral ranges from 3 to 25 $\mu$m with optical pumping is demonstrated. Single-mode generation was obtained at a wavelength of 4.05 $\mu$m at 60 K in a microdisc resonator with a diameter of 50 $\mu$m.
