Abstract:
Self-oscillations of the direction of radiation polarization in fiber lasers have been studied under conditions of laser cavity passive Q-switching for orthogonally polarized modes with the aid of micro-optomechanical resonance structures (micro-oscillators). It is established that the frequency of self-oscillations is determined predominantly by eigenfrequencies of the micro-oscillator. The short-term relative instability of the frequency of these oscillations (under normal conditions) according to the determinations that have been carried out is 5 $\cdot$10$^{-5}$.
