Transient radiation of multiply charged ions on the interface of two media

Abstract: The problem of the effect of recharging processes of multiply charged accelerated ions in a medium on transient radiation characteristics is solved. It has been shown that pickup (loss) of electrons by accelerated multiply charged ions at the interface of two media considerably increases the transient irradiation yield at achievement of equilibrium charge in a medium.
