Abstract:
For the first time, a line at a wavelength of 533 nm, associated with the presence of nitrogen in diamond, was studied with combined photo and electric excitation in a diamond $p$–$i$–$n$ diode. The change of the intensity of this line was compared with the change of the intensities of the zero-phonon lines of the nitrogen-vacancy color center in the neutral and negative charge states when the current through the diode and the power of the excitation laser were varied.
