The investigation of amplified radiation wavefront distortions in a cryogenically cooled laser amplifier

Abstract: Thermal and electronic contributions to wavefrront distortions of radiation amplified in the cryogenically cooled amplifier are investigated using laser scanning method. The optical path difference profile introduced to amplified radiation for pulse repetition rate in range 200–1000 Hz and pump radiation peak power of 200 W are analysed.
