Abstract:
Colloidal quantum dots based on InSb without shell and with shells InP; CdS; InP/CdS and InP(Cd)/CdS are synthesized and investigated. The best results on photoluminescence and its stability were shown by quantum dots with a two-layer shell InP(Cd)/CdS. The results are explained in the models of the exciton recombination mechanism and the quantum-dimensional electron restriction by the isomorphic two-layer shell.
