Urbach rule in MnGa$_{2}$$_{4}$ single crystals upon optical absorption

Abstract: The Urbach rule in MnGa$_{2}$$_{4}$ single crystals is studied. It is found that the long-wavelength absorption tail obeys the Urbach rule at photon energies in the range 2.1–2.2 eV. It is shown that a strong electron–phonon interaction exists in MnGa$_{2}$$_{4}$ single crystals.
