Abstract: In the paper we study the Joule – Thomson expansion of Kerr and charged black holes in AdS-space, as well as two-parameter fluids. Based on the equations of state, analytical expressions for inversion temperatures are obtained, inversion curves in the $TP$-plane are constructed, and the regions of positive and negative effects are determined. Similarities and differences in the behavior of black holes and two-parameter fluids in the considered process are found.

Keywords: AdS-space, Kerr black hole, charged black hole, two-parameter fluids, Joule – Thomson expansion, inversion curve, cooling and heating regions.
