Abstract: Polymer luminescent compositions based on polystyrene (PS), polycarbonate (PC) and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) doped with boron difluoride dibenzoylmethanate (DBMBF$_2$), boron difluoride anthracenoylacetonate (AntAcBF$_2$) and their mixture were investigated. Composition based on PS has a maximum quantum yield of luminescence. The role of PS in increasing the efficiency of energy transfer from the donor (DBMBF$_2$) to the acceptor (AntAcBF$_2$) is revealed, which is due to the formation of exciplexes between DBMBF$_2$ and phenyl rings of PS.

Keywords: $\beta$-diketonates boron difluoride, boron difluoride dibenzoylmethanate, polymers, luminescence, exciplexes.
