The laser prepulse influence on the generation of superstrong magnetic fields in cluster plasma

Abstract: The generation of an ultra-strong magnetic field in a cluster plasma in a focal region of an intense circularly polarized laser pulse with a controlled pre-pulse is considered using analytical estimates and numerical modeling. The parameters of the pre-pulse are determined to obtain the maximum amplitude of the quasi-stationary magnetic field.
