Recombination radiation and Compton photoexcitation in the scattering of a photon by an atomic ion

Abstract: The analytical structure, absolute values, and angular anisotropy of the doubly differential cross sections of recombination radiation and Compton photoexcitation upon scattering of an X-ray photon by electrons of a multicharged helium-like atomic ion are theoretically predicted.
