Abstract: The interaction of two one-dimensional spatial vector structures of a Bose–Einstein atomic condensate in a trap with significant transverse dimensions and oscillating walls has been simulated numerically. Different types of coupled structures and different scenarios of their collisions are revealed. A comparison is made with the properties of scalar solitons, which are described by the traditional nonlinear Schrödinger equation.
