Abstract:
The features of the adjustment of current architectural environment for people with disabilities are described based on the study and analysis of the "man - environment - employment" components, which are the prerequisites and the composite parts of the individuals’ activities. To sustain an independent lifestyle and participation in social activities for all impaired people there is a need to ensure the affordability of the physical environment, transportation, information and communication technologies as well as the accessibility of the historical environment and the buildings of historical and cultural importance for them.
