Abstract:
The transformation of previously abandoned industrial buildings into public and residential is presented. One of the architectural tasks of the modern era is the adaptation of previously abandoned industrial buildings for public and residential premises, which allows them to combine old and new architectural solutions. The first part of the article first discusses the need for this process to emerge, then touches on some international examples, then presents the practice of transformation and the need for development in the Republic of Armenia.
