Abstract:
Currently, cast-in-place reinforced concrete frame structures of buildings are most often used in the Republic of Armenia, but the construction of buildings with a steel frame is also of interest. The article considers a building consisting of two blocks, one of which is made with a reinforced concrete frame, the other-with a steel frame. The stresses arising under the influence of seismic loads are investigated, a comparative analysis of the economic efficiency of both options is carried out, the prerequisites for choosing the type of frame are proposed.
