Abstract: An unobstructed urban area has been examined for the elimination of environmental barriers for the disabled people (evident from the international architectural planning experience). This examination proposes specific aspects and standards that will improve the future architectural plans, which aim at fixing up previous errors. Research shows that countries that have successfully made the environmental changes for the elderly and disabled have shown improved results in the annual tourism reports. If the cities of our country emphasize the need to focus on this issue, significant improvements in the results can be achieved.

Keywords: urban environment, adaptable environment, available tasks, people with disabilities, unimpeded architectural environment and modernized environment.
