Architectural design trends of modern museums

Abstract: Modern trends in architectural design of museums space have been observed. A retrospective analysis of the museum environment from the perspective of design is presented herein. The author reveals the main reasons for the change in morphology, symbolism and phenomenology in the modern world. Problems, design problems that arise from predictable analysis, formation with dominant information-emotional, socio-cultural factors, as well as the role of the museums in shaping the concept of sustainable development of the city are presented in this paper.
