H.M. Nasoyan

National university of architecture and construction of Armenia

Abstract: To understand digital architecture, it is necessary to preview it in a historical context, following the development of digital theory from its origins to our days. Obviously, the digital turn is no less important as paradigm shift compared to renaissance or the industrial revolution and fallowing modernism. By contrast, the development of digital media theory is critical to the development of the architectural field, since the digital media is the central tool of contemporary social and professional spheres.

Keywords: the print age, digital media, neutral subject, image plane.
