Abstract:
A study of the transformation of the urban environment by the example of the Italian city of Florence is presented. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the urban environment, the combination of the old and the new, and the construction of superstructures and structures in the conditions of urban development, from the 13th to the 21st centuries. As a result of the local study, separate principles were observed and taken out, which affects the perception of the dimensional composition of the historical city.
