Abstract:
The Vedi reservoir is fed by a fiberglass (GRP) pipeline, which, unlike the metal pipeline, requires the development of special engineering measures designed to provide safe operation of hazardous sections of the pipeline. Fiberglass water mains require special technical design conditions, for which it is necessary to justify and implement complex engineering measures. In this article, through the analysis of channel formation processes, engineering measures are presented to ensure the long-term and reliable operation of fiberglass pipes by their underground laying in the transitional sections of the mudflow channels ravines.
