Building problems of residential areas in Тehran city

Abstract: The residential fund capacity, as well as the swift urbanization of Tehran and its development from mid- size city into large scale mega polis are presented in the article.. The population and building density of the central districts, the low rise, mid-rise and high rise variations of them are analyzed. Based on the master plan of Tehran, statistical data on 22 residential areas, the legislative framework for construction, the calculated area for each family and inhabitant, and their improvement opportunities were reviewed.
