The prospects of introducing “green construction” via breeam standard in the Republic of Armenia

Abstract: As the growing danger of global climate change, lack of natural resources and the destruction of global ecosystem prioritize current construction sphere for the preservation of the ecosystem overseas experience of the accreditation of “green construction” is studied hereby emphasizing the basic advantages and disadvantages of the most commonly known BREEM standard. It is encouraged the active introduction of the “green construction” in the Republic of Armenia by the incorporation of BREEM standard.
