Ribbed dome structures

Abstract: The proposal is related to the sphere of construction and it designed for developing new construction decisions of domes. These proposals will provide easy, fast erection of domes with the less costs. Ribbed dome structure have been proposed, composed of the main and adjacent parts. Ribs of the dome structure are metallic (steel) trusses which are joined together by belts and braces. Ribs at the bottom are rested against the continuous foundation and at the top are joined by octagonal ring which simultaneously serve as a window. The dome structures can be used as a museum, shopping centre, picture gallery, swimming pool etc.
