Abstract:
This paper provides an overview of the problem related to generating measuring signals with a predetermined ratio of harmonics. Synthesis by means of sinusoidal signal generators to control the duration of half-periods has proven to be the most promising way of producing such signals. The synthesized signals have a constant amplitude and RMS voltage at any given THD.
