Abstract:
The structure of Fuchsian modules over the field of convergent power series in one variable is investigated. A complete description is obtained of indecomposable Fuchsian modules when the subfield of constants has an Archimedian metric, and some results are proved concerning the decomposition of Fuchsian modules into direct sums when the subfield of constants is endowed with a $p$-adic metric.
