An estimate on the error in a numerical integration of a quasilinear equation with a regular degeneracy

Abstract: For the case of a regular degeneracy of the convexity condition an estimate is obtained for the convergence $O(h\ln1/h)$ of a numerical integration of the quasilinear equation $u_t+(\varphi(u))_x=0$.
