Abstract:
The influence of deformation anisotropy on the process of plastic deformation of metals is considered. Based on experimental diagrams of material strengthening under tension-compression and torsion at different temperatures, a model of a viscoplastic body is constructed, according to which the intensities of normal and tangential stresses are specified in different ways. A model problem of deformation of a rectangular parallelepiped, which is upset between two rough plates, is solved. A comparison between the solution in accordance with the proposed model and in accordance with the hypothesis of a single curve has been made.
