On the convergence of functional series used in solving thermal deformation problems

Abstract: In this paper, the uniform convergence of functional series with their partial derivatives is approved. These series are used in previous researches to determine of the stress-strain state of a solid sphere which is made of the elastoviscoplastic material with hardening and subjected to uniform heat exposure. The remainder term of the series is also estimated. This fact makes it possible to to determine the enough finitesimal number of terms to carry out a numerical analysis of the results.
