Thermic and athermic plane harmonic waves in acentric isotropic solid

Abstract: The present paper is devoted to the propagation of plane thermoelastic harmonic waves in an acentric isotropic micropolar solid. For this aim, the dynamic equations of an acentric isotropic solid are considered. The spatial polarizations of plane waves of translational and spinor displacements are determined. The qualitative nature of possible wave solutions to the equations of coupled micropolar thermoelasticity is discussed. The case of an athermic wave is considered separately.
