About torsion of the sector of a thick-wall pipe

Abstract: In this work, we study the stress-strain and state of the isotropic sector of a thickwalled pipe made of an ideal rigid-plastic material, under the assumption that it twists around an axis parallel to the z-axis. Torsion of ideally plastic rods made of isotropic and anisotropic material is considered in [1–7]. In [3], the torsion of a sector of a circular ring made of an isotropic material was also considered. In [8], [9], the torsion of a sector of a circular ring under the influence of linear pressure was studied.
