Abstract:
In the second part of the article, proceeding solely from the established formula for the area of a square of an arbitrary side, the areas of the basic figures of the school planimetry with a broken line border (rectangle, triangle, parallelogram, trapezium) are successively displayed. As a convenient in practical implementation laboratory work in mathematics, accompanying the study of geometric properties of the circle, it is proposed to measure the number “pi” by improving the pixel estimates of the areas of quarters of circles of different radii.
Keywords:measurement of the number $\pi $, laboratory work in mathematics, teaching geometry, area of a figure, statistical method, improved pixel estimate of a flat measure.
