Modeling of wave processes in room acoustics based on the ray tracing method

Abstract: In the paper, we consider the fundamentals of the Ray Tracing method, with a detailed description of its algorithmic realization. This method is widely used, being the basic method when investigating acoustic properties of those rooms, where the acoustic quality is meaningful. As an example, the fundamental properties of the method are demonstrated on acoustic properties of a tested room.
