Abstract: A method and an algorithm were developed for numerical determination of probabilistic characteristics of natural frequencies splitting of the elastic thin-walled shell with arbitrary non-axisymmetric deviations of geometry parameters. The proposed algorithm allows to determine the probabilistic characteristics of frequency splitting of the non-ideal shells either directly from the measurement results of the random imperfections of their geometry, or on full statistical data on these imperfections if available. The results of numerical calculations of specific shells are presented.

Keywords: elastic thin-walled shell, random non-axisymmetric imperfections of geometry, frequency splitting, probabilistic characteristics, Monte-Carlo method.
