Abstract:
The paper considers a one-step modification of the predictor-correction method of adaptive artificial viscosity for solving gas dynamics equations. With the same order of accuracy in space and time, the modified method has the best characteristics in terms of performance of both sequential and distributed software implementation. The results of calculations of several problems of gas dynamics and evaluation of the effectiveness of the
developed software are presented, including an example of $\mathrm{3D}$ modeling on a hybrid
mesh containing more than $5\times 10^8$ elements.
