Abstract:
Aspects of developing the algorithms and the parallel codes are considered in connection with questions of modeling the processes of gamma radiation transport on hybrid supercomputers. Principles of calculation parallelization by use of graphical processors as arithmetical coprocessors are discussed. A scheme of effective Monte Carlo method modification is described. The modification is intended for parallel computing with using the systems with hybrid architecture. Efficiency of developed algorithms and software is exemplificative of solving the problem on spectral distribution of energy absorbed in a radiation detector.
