The model of fluid movement in the crust for geological times

Abstract: The plane model of the fluid-medium interaction in crust waveguide is examined in term of saturated porous medium mechanics. Because of the water is wringing out the waveguide during geological times, there is returning mechanism to put it periodically in the waveguide back. There are two competitive fluid dynamic processes in this model – the viscous consolidation and the dilatation. If the tectonic force acts horisontally in this system, the slow kinematic wave arises and moves to that direction. These processes cover the continental regions of order thousand and tens thousand kilometers and with the typical times of order some tens thousand years.
The geophysical applications are discussed.
